This journey starts in the Cotopaxi Volcano parking lot at 4,600 m with an incredible descent through the sandy roads which head towards the northwestern region of the volcano with a beautiful view of the Limpios Pampa and its surrounding volcanoes: Sincholagua, Rumiñahui and Pasochoa where the majestic Andean condor lives. After crossing the park, we will continue to the Santa Rita Hacienda situated in the fabulous remaining Andean forest.

Fuya Fuya is the highest elevation of The Mojanda Knot, it is situated in the limit of the provinces of Pichincha and Imbabura. To ascend to its summit it is necessary to cross a short but steep grassland and to pass through rock segments, from where you can enjoy a delightful scenary of the Mojanda Knot and its lagoons.
